Yesterday my books arrived from the printer, and I'm extremely pleased with the quality. They'll be shipping out to the Kickstarter backers over the next few days, complete with incentives, with the exception of the two backers that get the big color drawings, those will ship separately. I'm also going to do a little redesigning to the sidebar to properly advertise the book. If you didn't contribute to the Kickstarter and want a book, then you can order it through Paypal by just going to carpaltunnelpress.blogspot.com and clicking the link in the blog post, or if you're in Charlotte, cornering me at a Sketch Charlotte meeting, since I'll always be carrying a couple with me.

If you appreciate what I do, the little contributions will help me pay for the 'core membership,' and it will also serve as an extra motivation to keep going.
Thank you in advance. π

Why I'm Not Drawing
Hey, I know I haven't been drawing a lot lately. I just sketched a little for the first time since Charlotte Comicon, which was at least 2 weeks ago. I feel like I have a decent reason for my lack of productivity.
I took the position of Editor-In-Chief over at needelessessentialsonline.com, a comics and collecting website that covers news and reviews. I really enjoy discovering new comics and sharing them with other fans. I also enjoy taking my years of education and experience and pointing out when a comic that's being hyped really shouldn't be bothered with, or that a comic needs more eyes on it. One of the more recent decisions that I mad
More than a little pissed.
Somebody made a smart phone game called “Jetpack Jenny” this year and published an e-book (with a horrible cover). I just wish that they had done a simple Google search before doing anything.
Not cool.
UPDATE:
This has lit a fire under me to work on Jet-Pack Jenny again and make it the best webcomic that I can. I have to start off with what I can afford and work from there.
What I'm probably gonna do next...
The book is almost done, It's just a matter of finding the time to fix the lettering on the last couple of strips.
AlphaBabes does not take me away from this, as I only work on these during SketchCharlotte on Thursday nights. The work on the book is whenever I get time at home, but between the baby and housework, time is a little fleeting and if I have a half-hour, five minutes of it is spent finding the files I need to work on relettering. But once the book is done, it'll be zipping off to the printer.
But what comes after that?
Well, I've made it clear I don't expect to have a career doing this, so I get the luxury of doing whatever I wa
Comics and I Need to Come to an Understanding
Okay, I'm sick of going to blogger to post something then seeing my stats and realizing that no one is looking at it. Whenever I complain online that no one is looking at my stuff I get told that I should draw for myself, but there's a problem with that solution. I love making comics, and comics are all about storytelling. However, when you don't have anyone listening to the story, you're just talking to yourself like a crazy person.
Do I just talk to myself? Do I just do comics for myself and hope that someone out there starts reading the story? I tried that this year and it has led me to here, where I'm frustrated with my lack of an audien
